Dr. Ben Inman

​Dr. Inman graduated Texas A&M University in 2000 with a Bachelors in Biology and a minor in chemistry. He then graduated Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2009. Dr. Inman began is career in veterinary medicine working in a mixed animal practice in Granbury, Texas. Here he spent 5 years working on all maner of creatures; 4-legged, 2-legged and a few without. In 2014 he was offered the opportunity to come back home to West Texas to work with Dr. Stevens and Dr. Wheeler at Arden Animal Clinics. Dr. Inman is dedicated to his patients and strives to help provide the best care possible.

​​Lessa BLocK

Lessa Block graduated from Angelo State University in 2003 with a bachelors of science in Animal Science. She was a licensed paramedic for 4 years before beginning at Texas A&M Universities Medicial Teaching Hosptial in the ICU/ER and soft tissue department. She spent 10 1/2 years in college station before returning to San Angelo to join the Arden Animal Clinics team. She married her husband, Justin, in 2003 and she has a son named Cayden. Lessa's vet tech experience of 15 years and her dedication to training and riding horses makes her a great addition to the clinic. Come in and meet Lessa, she's happy to help you with any of your animal related needs! 




Will Smolka

Will Smolka graduated from Angelo State University in 2017 with a bachelors of science in Animal Science. Come in and meet Will, he's happy to help you with any of your animal related needs!

MEET THE DOCTORS

Dr. Jeff Wheeler

Dr. Wheeler graduated Angelo State University in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science with biochemistry minor. He then graduated from Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2008 and began to fulfill his dreams of a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Wheeler spent his first 3 and half years of practice caring for high performance Quarter Horses that competed throughout the New Mexico Race Circuit. During that period Dr. Wheeler had the privilege to care for two All American Futuity Winners, “Running Brook Gal” and “Mr. Piloto”. Dr. Wheeler’s next opportunity came in an all-equine practice in Katy, Texas where he cared for a variety of equine disciplines. Then the West Texas raised Veterinarian made his way back home, when Dr. Brian Stevens, a Texas A&M classmate, called him with an opportunity to return to San Angelo where they began their quest for practice ownership and the ability to provide quality and cost effective treatment for their client’s pets.

Dr. Brian Stevens

Dr. Stevens graduated Angelo State University in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. He then graduated Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2008 and began to fulfill his dreams of a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Stevens began immediately working in a mixed practice clinic. He has been practicing veterinary medicine on both large and small animals for the past 6 years. As of 2013, Dr. Stevens and his former classmate, Dr. Wheeler, have joined forces at Arden Animal Clinics to provide quality and cost effective treatment for their client’s pets.
